About Us

Centinela Property is a Mexican industrial real estate and property management company headquartered in Mexico City.

The Centinela team directed the IGS industrial real estate platform through 2023 and now continues operations as Centinela Property.  

Centinela Property continues to build on the teams 20+ year track record investing capital and managing assets throughout Mexico with a primary focus on the US boarder industrial markets.  Based on the success of the first three funds, Centinela co-raised and immediately committed during the first quarter of 2023 an initial US$180M of capital in the Mexican industrial market and continues with subsequent follow-on closings. 

Centinela has a dedicated team of real estate professionals specialized in adding value for our clients through acquisitions, leasing, sales, property, and asset management.  We invest in and manage industrial assets across the industrial real estate risk spectrum throughout Mexico either through investor partnerships or property and development management contracts.

Centinela Property invests capital and manages property providing efficient cost effective, world-class industrial space for manufacturing companies operating in Mexico.

CURRENTLY

March

Centinela adds 9.4 M SF of property management for an institutional MX Fund.

June

During the second quarter Centinela commits the majority of the capital raised in 2022 and closes new acquisitions adding 3.5 SF of assets under management.

Octubre

Centinela obtains its first LEED Silver certification for the 507,831 SF MXL Progreso III building.

2022

June

Centinela begins property management of 4.5 M SF for an institutional US investor.

December

Centinela co-raised an initial US$180 M.

Centinela signed the Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI)

Centinela Property was founded by Winston Lachlan Elting, Cristina Acosta and Misael Pecina as a spin-off from Grupo IGS which Lachlan Elting co-founded in 1995.
